Milton Town Council approved allocating grants from the Milton Community Fund totalling $362,564 to 46 local organizations that are helping to make Milton a place of possibility.

The Milton Community Fund supports a wide variety of not-for-profit organizations and programs that enhance local access to artistic, cultural and recreational programs.

Milton Council established the Milton Community Fund to distribute a portion of the funds received from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (Woodbine - Mohawk Park) to local organizations.

Since 2001, the Milton Community Fund has distributed more than $7.6 million into the community.
