Milton Transit is introducing several service improvements this fall, including extended evening hours, new Sunday service, and route adjustments to better serve the community.  

Extended weekday evening service 

Most routes will now offer later evening service, with final trips departing Milton GO Station at 10:50 p.m., aligned with Specialized Transit and OnDemand services.  

Schedule adjustments

Minor schedule adjustments have been made across the system to improve reliability. 

  • Routes 2 through 8 will operate every 35 minutes from noon to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday 

Route changes 

  • Route 3 extended to Mattamy National Cycling Centre via Louis St. Laurent  

  • Route 6 realigned toservice Sherwood Community Centre 

  • Route 9 will be replaced with improved all-day Route 9A service and a new Route 9B branch to better service the Boyne area.  

OnDemand changes 

  • Milton GO Station will be added as a transfer point to Boyne OnDemand zone 

  • Route 9B will be replacing a section of OnDemand in the Boyne Zone 

New Sunday service 

Starting on Sunday Sept. 7, all routes will operate on Sundays for the first time. Service will run from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on most routes, with frequencies ranging from 30 to 60 minutes depending on the route. 

School special routes 

Secondary school special service (routes 50 to 54) will resume Tuesday, Sept. 2.
