As Milton’s neighbourhoods continue to grow and evolve, the Town’s overnight parking pilot in select parks continues to help reduce parking pressures on residential streets.

The pilot program introduced in June 2025 represents a temporary solution as Milton becomes a community with denser neighbourhoods and more public transit options.

Approximately 400 overnight parking spaces are available across 15 parks. Locations were chosen based on parking ticket volume, zoning for accessory dwellings, and geographic distribution across all four wards.

The Town of Milton is reminding residents as spring is expected to renew ongoing pressures in growing residential neighborhoods.
