Please take notice that the Council of the Town of Milton under Section 17 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, C.P. 13, as amended, to inform the public of the Town’s intent to update the Official Plan. The Official Plan is a detailed land use plan for guiding growth and development.

In-person session: 6 to 7 p.m. (Town Hall Lobby, 150 Mary St.)
How to attend: Town staff are hosting two events, one virtually and in person. Register online for the virtual session beginning at 12.30 p.m. or drop by in person at Milton Town Hall at 6 p.m. At both sessions you will learn about the proposed Official Plan and speak with the project team. Comments on the proposed Official Plan can also be provided online.
Application details
- The Town of Milton is undertaking a comprehensive review and update of the Official Plan. The new Plan presents the vision for long-term development and policies to achieve this vision. The Plan clearly facilitates growth to shape neighbourhoods, while being flexible to respond to future emerging opportunities.
- Through the proposed updates to the official Plan, the Town will achieve conformity with Provincial policy direction and be responsive to updated growth trends.
