Construction season has begun. The Town of Milton is investing $57.8 million in critical infrastructure projects throughout 2026 to support a safe, connected, and growing community.

Work includes road reconstruction, new bike lanes, sidewalk expansion, asphalt resurfacing, intersection improvements, curb and gutter upkeep, storm sewer repairs, and bridge maintenance.

Throughout the year, residents can expect temporary road closures and lane restrictions on main roads and residential streets. While this work may cause some inconvenience, these upgrades are essential to supporting Milton’s long-term transportation goals.

Ongoing maintenance will also continue on local roads and sidewalks to improve safety, support traffic flow, and encourage a walkable, bike-friendly community.

Residents are encouraged to plan ahead, follow all posted signage, and maintain a safe distance from construction zones and equipment. Please consider alternate routes to help ensure everyone’s safety and reduce delays.
