Registered candidates and residents who are considering running in the 2026 Municipal Election are invited to attend a virtual candidate information session on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, from 6 to 8 p.m.  

The session will provide an overview of the municipal election process, including: 

  • Candidate eligibility 

  • Nomination process 

  • Campaign finances 

  • Fundraising and advertising rules 

  • Election sign regulations 

  • Voting methods and key election dates 

Town of Milton staff and representatives from the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing will share information and answer questions.
