Ward 1 residents can vote in the by-election on Monday, Oct. 6, between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m.

- Sherwood Community Centre – 6355 Main St. W.
- Milton Sports Centre – 605 Santa Maria Blvd.
- Nassagaweya Tennis Centre and Community Hall – 9267 Guelph Line
- Nassagaweya Community Centre – 2005 Cameron Dr.
Voter eligibility
You can vote in the Ward 1 by-election if you are:
- A Canadian citizen
- At least 18 years old
- A resident of Ward 1, a property owner or tenant in Ward 1, or the spouse of someone who owns or rents property in Ward 1
- Not otherwise prohibited from voting by law
Voter identification
Voters are reminded to bring their voter notification card and identification that shows their name and address. Eligible residents who have not received a voter notification card can still vote by providing identification that includes their name and Ward 1 address.
How to view the results
Polls close at 8 p.m., and preliminary results will be posted on the Town’s website shortly after. Residents are invited to a public results viewing in the foyer of the FirstOntario Arts Centre Milton, with doors opening at 7 p.m.
Official by-election results will be released by the Town Clerk on Tuesday, Oct. 7.
