Get ready to vote in Milton’s 2026 Municipal Election

The Town of Milton is encouraging residents to get ready for the 2026 Municipal Election taking place on Monday, Oct. 26, 2026. With important dates approaching, residents are reminded to check their voter information and learn about available voting options. 

Municipal elections determine who will represent the community and make decisions on services that impact daily life, including roads, transit, parks, recreation, and community development. 

Review and update your voter information 

Residents can review and update their information on the voters’ list from Sept. 1 - 16, 2026, through the Town of Milton website. 

Ensuring your information is accurate will help make voting faster and easier. 

Voter Notification Cards will be mailed in late September, providing voters with key details about when and where to vote. 

Vote by mail 

Voters who prefer to vote from home may request a vote-by-mail kit online at Milton.ca/Election from Sept. 1 -Sept. 28, 2026.

Completed kits must be returned by Oct. 15, 2026. Voters who miss the mail deadline can drop off their vote-by-mail envelopes in person at Town Hall, 150 Mary St., by 8 p.m. on Oct. 26, 2026.
