In accordance with the provisions of the Planning Act, this is to advise that FCHT Holdings (Ontario) Corp has submitted an application for a Zoning By-law Amendment. 

Location

The subject property is municipally known as 6901-6951 Derry Rd. The subject site is located at the northwest corner of Derry Road West and Bronte Street South.

Applicant's Proposal

The proposal includes the development of the west side of Subject Site for two new buildings, including a one-storey multi-tenant building proposed for retail stores (Building A containing a gross floor area of 826.17 square metres) and a two-storey multi-tenant building containing a grocery (food) store and a fitness centre (Building F containing a gross floor area of 7,223.40 square metres). The proposal also provides associated surface parking and the realignment of the existing drive-through lane associated with the existing restaurant (Tim Hortons) on Site.

Planning Act Requirements

The Planning Act requires that all complete applications be processed. The application is now being circulated to Town Departments and Agencies for technical review. No decision has been made regarding this application.

Notice of the Statutory Public Meeting will be given in accordance with the Planning Act requirements. The Statutory Public Meeting is where members of the public will be invited to obtain information, make a verbal presentation and/or written submission, to identify issues of concern and/or express views in support of, or in opposition to, the proposed application at the Statutory Public Meeting only.
