Effective March 14, 2022, Milton Transit riders who connect with GO Transit will no longer need to make a $0.80 co-fare payment. As part of the GO Transit Fare Integration Program, the Province of Ontario has lifted the co-fare fee for connections between Milton Transit and GO Transit.

Simply show your GO Transit ticket, pass or PRESTO card to the Milton Transit operator to acknowledge that you are connecting to or from GO Transit.

In Milton, the GO Transit Fare Integration Program is valid for trips beginning or ending at the following share bus loop locations:

  • Bus stops in the bus loop at the Milton GO Station and along Drew Centre (adjacent to the bus loop area)
  • Bus stop at the Hwy 401 and RR 25 Park and Ride location

The free co-fare on Milton Transit services (conventional, specialized and OnDemand) only applies to GO Transit train and bus passenger transfers (outbound and inbound) at the locations listed above. It does not apply to any bus-to-bus connections at other bus stops or stopovers.

Refunds

Anyone that has purchased a March 2022 GO Transfer monthly pass can receive a 50 per cent refund ($16) in person at Town Hall or through the Token Transit app (if purchased through the app). Refunds will be honoured until May 31, 2022.
