In accordance with the provisions of the Planning Act, this is to advise that 1000118982 Ontario Limited (formerly 1045502 and 1048605 Ontario Limited) has applied for a official plan amendment and zoning by-law amendment.
Location
The subject property is located in Ward 4 and has an area of approximately 14.7 hectares. The property is legally described as Part of Lot 7 and 8, Concession 1 in the Town of Milton and municipally identified as 1190 Bronte Street South. The site is within the Boyne Survey Secondary Plan and is designated as Secondary Mixed-Use Node. The subject lands are currently zoned as future development in the Town’s Zoning By-law.
Applicant's Proposal
The applicant is seeking an Official Plan Amendment and Zoning By-law Amendment (associated with a Draft Plan of Subdivision) to modify the limits of the Secondary Mixed Use Node. In part with this, the high-density components will be revised while also establishing permissions for medium density uses. The proposed site-specific zoning will address site-specific relief that will accommodate the proposed built-form and siting configuration.
Planning Act Requirements
The Planning Act requires that all complete applications be processed. The applications are now being circulated to Town Departments and Agencies for technical review. No decision has been made regarding the applications.
