Mattamy National Cycling Centre is open for fitness.  Milton Sports Centre will open for fitness in October.  Please review the information below regarding registration and new safety guidelines.

 Payment options

Try our new 30 day pass.  As we gradually reopen more facilities, we will incrementally increase the price until we return to full service levels.  At that time, our annual pass will become available for purchase.

Single Visits

  • Youth (13-17 years of age) - $10.50
  • Adult (18-64 years of age) - $11.60
  • Older Adult (65+ years of age) - $10.50

10 visits:

  • Youth (13-17 years of age) - $94.10
  • Adult (18-64 years of age) - $104.40
  • Older Adult (65+ years of age) - $94.10

30-day monthly pass:

  • Youth (13-17 years of age) - $14.00
  • Adult (18-64 years of age) - $20.00
  • Older Adult (65+ years of age) - $14.00
 Pre-registration for fitness classes/centre
  • All fitness centre and class visits must be pre-booked online. Pre-booking allows us to maintain a safe number of participants and ensures that your spot is secure.
  • Online pre-booking will open 72 hours prior to the program.
  • All fitness centre visits are 1 or 1.5 hours in length.
  • Program attendance and waitlists will be closely monitored. We will add more opportunities based on demand and the ability to maintain our updated safety processes.
  • If a class is full, please place yourself on the waitlist to help us understand the community interest
 Plan for your workout
  • If you feel ill, stay home. There is no penalty for a missed workout due to illness. Please send us an https://forms.milton.ca/ContactUs/Recreation to cancel your workout so that we can make space for someone else to attend.
  • Arrive in your workout clothes and minimize the personal items you bring with you.
  • Washrooms and a limited number of lockers are available. You must bring your own lock.
  • Change rooms and showers remain closed at this time.
  • Pack enough water for your workout. Water refill stations are opened but water fountains are closed.
  • Please bring your own mat.
 Arriving for your workout
  • Check in for your workout starts 15 minutes in advance of your pre-booked session
  • Follow directional signage and physical distancing markers at main entrance and throughout the building to your program
  • Use hand sanitizer provided within the facility.
  • Check-in at the front desk to pay or self-scan your 30 day or 10-visit pass. 
  • Promptly exit the facility at the end of your scheduled time.
 Cleaning/safety measures

Capacities have been limited in all fitness areas to ensure physical distancing is maintained

Fitness Centres

  • All participants will be provided a disinfectant bottle for cleaning when entering and are to return it when exiting
  • Staff will disinfect the bottle after each use
  • Participants should wipe down equipment before and after each use 
  • Staff will focus on cleaning high-touch surface areas during each shift
  • Equipment that is porous or hard to clean has been removed from the fitness centre
  • Staff will sanitize the room at the end of every day

Studio

  • Classes are being planned to minimize the use of equipment
  • No sharing of equipment will be permitted
  • All participants will be provided a disinfectant bottle for cleaning when entering and are to return it when exiting
  • Participants are to clean the equipment used at the end of the class
  • Staff will sanitize high touch surfaces at the end of the class

Pre-screening questions

  • Are you experiencing any symptoms such as fever, cough, difficulty breathing?
  • Have you traveled outside Canada in the last 14 days?
  • Have you or someone you have been in close contact with tested positive for COVID-19 within the last 14 days?
  • Have you been in close contact with someone who is being tested or has exhibited symptoms of COVID-19 within the last 14 days?

If you answered YES to any of the above questions, please do not come to the program

Fitness FAQ's

What about fitness passes held before the COVID-19 shutdown?

If you held a 10 visit pass, it has been migrated into our new recreation software system and available for use after August 22. The usual one-year expiry has been extended by an extra 365 days so that you can return when you feel comfortable and don’t feel rushed to use it.

If you held an annual pass on a monthly payment plan, your pass has been cancelled. Any credit remaining will be refunded to you. When you are ready to return, you may purchase one of the options above.

Your annual paid-in-full pass has been migrated into our new recreation software system. When you are ready to return, let us know and we will transfer your previous pass into one of our new pass options. If you are not ready to return, your pass will remain “on hold” until we resume our usual annual passes. Drop-in fitness guidelines

Review our drop-in fitness guidelines before attending one of our programs:

  • You must sign in at the customer service desk before entering
  • Spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis
  • You must be 14 or older to participate in fitness classes
  • Wear proper running or walking shoes and athletic clothing
  • Bring your own mat for Mind Body Flow classes
