In accordance with the provisions of the Planning Act, this is to advise that AR Land Holdings Inc. has submitted applications for a Zoning By-law Amendment.

Location

The subject is located on Boston Church Road approximately 380 metres north of Highway 401 within the Milton 401 Industrial/Business Park (8465 Boston Church Rd.). The property is generally rectangular in design with frontage on Boston Church Road. The property lot dimensions include 126.3 metres of frontage, and side lot lines with lengths of 149.51 metres and 150.75 metres, representing an area of approximately 2.02 hectares. The property is located in Ward 2.

Applicant's Proposal

A development application has been submitted to amend the Town’s Zoning By-law (016-2014) to allow a transportation terminal use on the subject property. The proposal seeks to re-zone the subject property from Major Institutional (I-B) Zone to Site Specific Industrial (M2*XX) Zone to allow for a transportation terminal use. The application is solely for a change in use and no interior or exterior works are proposed on the subject property. 

Planning Act Requirements

The Planning Act requires that all complete applications be processed. The applications are now being circulated to Town Departments and Agencies for technical review. No decision has been made regarding the applications.
